Chocolate Porridge

INGREDIENTS:

For 1 servings

  • 1/2 cup fine oats (45g oats) 

  • 1 cup (237ml) water 

  • 0.5 cups almond milk (118ml)

  • 1 tbsp cocoa 

  • half a banana, chopped

  • 1 date, seed removed and chopped (or 1 tbsp maple syrup) 

 

Toppings: 

  • 1/2 banana, 1/2 tbsp almond butter, handful of walnuts and sprinkle of hemp seeds

DIRECTIONS:
 

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a pot and mix everything together.
     

  2. Cook the porridge over a medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring until it thickens and expands. 
     

  3. Pour the porridge into your bowl and add your optional toppings!
