Almond Butter
& Banana Choc Bites 



For approx. 25 bites 

  • 8 large medjool dates, seeds removed 

  • 2 bananas 

  • approx. 80g almond butter

  • 200g dark chocolate chips

  • 30g chopped almonds (optional)


  1. Add the dates into a bowl and cover with boiling water. Set aside for 15 minutes.

  2. Remove dates from the water (don't discard!) and add to a blender along with 3 tablespoons of the soaking liquid. Blend on high until smooth. 

  3. Slice the bananas into circles about 0.5cm thick. Transfer circles to a plate lined with baking paper.

  4. Top each slice of banana with 1/2 tsp of almond butter, followed by 1/2 teaspoon of the date caramel. Freeze for 1 hour.

  5. When ready to dip, melt the chocolate chips. Carefully dip each frozen banana into the chocolate, tapping off any excess chocolate and transfer back to the baking sheet. Top with chopped almonds and repeat until all bananas are covered. Freeze for another 30 mins-1 hour before enjoying or eat straight away ;)

  6. Store in the freezer for best results!
