Choc Coconut Protein Balls 



For approx. 25 balls 

  • 3 cups Medjool dates, pitted

  • 1 1/2 cups almonds

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 2 tbsp cacao powder

  • 4 scoops (120 g) plain or chocolate protein 

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional) 

  • 1/2 cup coconut flakes, unsweetened (for rolling the protein balls in) 


  1. In a food processor, add almonds and process until coarse flour. Add dates and water, process until combined, pausing and scraping the walls if necessary.

  2. Add cacao, protein powders and vanilla, process until well combined. 

  3. Spread coconut flakes on a large plate / shallow bowl. Using a teaspoon, scoop out a small amount of the the mixture and using your palms roll into small balls, next roll the balls in the coconut flakes until well coated it. 

Store: Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months
